Many folks arriving in Corfu now, are being tested at the airport for virus symptoms, and all are clear so far, what I can gather, what happens to those that may test positive ?, anyone shed some light on what may happen ?.

Why would you holiday in this country this year when you can't do what you normally do i.e. go to the pub, restaurant, theatre, cinema etc when the weather is shite. Also some parts of the country are openly discouraging people from visiting.

Having read another forum , it said that you would be taken to a quarantine hotel...and there is a chance that others on the plane could also be quarantined. It appears they are testing many more people at the airport.

No Winkie. There have been a few people going into Greece, testing positive, so they are keeping an eye on the situation, but they certainly don't wish to close the borders again. Lots of information on 'Corfu Forum '

Winkie you might want to have a look at the Gov.uk site here as well. I think the link for the form you need also takes you to a Greek information site. Hopefully these are all kept up to date. Unfortunately things are changing almost daily and it's just a case of keep checking I guess.

Many thanks to you both ( Karen and GB) , having second thoughts now, so frustrating, so many going and appearing to enjoy their holidays at the moment according to social media. Looking for an alternative trip nearer home,may be the way to go.
