Because I'm paying £300 to get to Manchester and back.  That will be the days when airlines are struggling.
Oh and just look at the thread "don't fall foul".

The BBC and Sky news are both reporting that NO new countries will be added to the green List and Portugal going on the Amber list
What a Joke getting fed up of this I feel this is more of an political decision due to the fact that the EU has not put the UK on their white list

Yes, I wasn't really surprised , however..the FCDO don't advise against non essential travel to Corfu, so that is something..

I'm surprised that anybody's surprised. Greece's infection rate is much higher than Portugal's.

I think everybody including the tour operators simply don't know what to do. A change from green to orange wouldn't be too bad, but from orange to red would be financially catastrophic. We'll go in September if it's green, but absolutely not if it's orange. The rules re Portugal have just demonstrated how quickly things can change.

The government said there would be a green  watch list, giving 2weeks notice of countries moving off the green list, that hasn't happened for Portugal and to be honest, if infection rates rise quickly, they shouldn't wait 2 weeks to make changes. We just have to accept that countries can be moved to amber or red, at a few days notice..

I have received an email from Tui saying my wife and I now require a negative covid test prior to our departure to Corfu.  Regardless of the fact that we are both fully vaccinated.  They claim this is the Greek government's new update.  Is this correct?

Hello Rod. On the GOV.UK site it says you don't require one of you are fully vaccinated and 14 days have passed since your last jab, but they don't always update that very quickly.
