Hi I, was wondering exactly how busy the village is and what and what isn't actually open.
We are due to arrive on the 15th July and was wondering if it was going to be like last year which was very low key

Glenn, let me tell you, if you thought last year was low key you should see the village now.  It's spookily quiet.  Through the day you hardly see a soul.  The beach today had about ten beds occupied.
However on an evening it is a little better.  I'll tell you what's open but even then just because they are open it still means they are only 20% full.
Manthos, Mistral, Waves, Mare Deus (Athens), Mango, Havana, Athens Bar, Hideout Bar, Bar 38, Silver Star, Australian Juice Bar, Casa Nostra (old Beer o clock).  Barras is opening on Saturday and all the supermarkets are open.  Hope this helps.

Look, is it on my list?  No.  So pay more attention.  Actually we were surprised that The Condor Bar wasn't open.  We spoke with the owner today and they indicated that it's not opening until Corfu turns "Green".

Far more open than 40 years ago when I 1st came..... out of interest why do a few guests need everything open? As there is a varirety of choice for the ratio number of visitors.. Oh and you missed all the pool bars which offer drinks and snacks for non residents too...... also opposite Express the Clothes shop and shoe place too...... you may have also missed the laundry is open this year, next door the Olive wood shop also open and Town Pizza too..... IMO it is better to have less open and have more ambience but all need to earn living even from passing trade.......

Haha! Thanks Rod. Condor is my favourite as I like a good o!d boogie...but I don't think we are allowed to dance! I also like Bar38 and Athens bar too!
