Pat and Pete

For those who know our lovely Pat and Pete from Barnsley,I am so sad to tell you that Pat died here early this morning.
They were due to fly home tomorrow.
Shock does not come close!

How very sad. It's bad enough when a loved one passes away at home (lost mum and mother-in-law within 10 months of each other recently) but much worse if it happens abroad. Deepest sympathies to the family.

Pete went home yesterday and I have to say TUI pulled out all the stops for him here and on his return at Doncaster.
The CS rep took over the paperwork and official necessities and of course all of us here-staff and guests who know them so well did as much as we could for Pete.
Pat will follow when the necessary formalities have been completed,as per Pete’s wishes.

Maggie it must be awful for everyone there that knew them and very difficult to not think about it. Easy to say I know, but you need to step back and try to think of it a little less each day. Pete being home is/was the first step for him.

I didn't know her, but she sounded very loved by all, so she must have been special..sorry for your loss..x

Yes you met her we stayed at Tom's may times and you and John had the next studio/apartment she had light curly hair

Over the years I think most of you will have met her,we were the 2 P's at Little Prince, she was Mrs Pat at Tom's, The Boss and Mrs Boss at Thomas Bay and lots of other names I dare say 🙂
