Saw there had been really bad weather this week, and just looking at the long range forecast for next 2 weeks looks rainy every day...do I care?  ::) Nope, cos a rainy day in San Stef is better than a sunny day at work... 8)

Fingers crossed they are wrong, but in any case you are right and I'm sure there will be sunshine. Oh, and it will be a lot warmer than here!

We used to go and of June, beginning of July and we would often get a couple of storms whilst we were there! One year we were in 2 stars for our evening meal and wanted to Go next door to Condor..Stefano stood at the door with paper towels to dry ourselves off! ;D

It looks a tad windy there today, but still beautiful! Odd seeing people on the beach in shorts etc... Even if a little warmer here today, at 12c it's not swimming weather!

In the end the weather was the least of our issues... the first morning I met a lady in our hotel who looked very sorry for herself and she told me she had been to the doctors as there was a stomach bug going round the village... 2 days later I succumbed, 3 days after that so did  DH  :'(  So that took 2 days out of the holiday straight away. I never got out of bed the day after my bout, and DH never left the room after his. Thankfully we had one of the swish new suites at the Athina-if you're going to be ill I couldn't think of a nicer room to be ill in!
And now I'm back at work and thinking "I'd sooner be sick in San Stef than well in work"...

Yep, bad enough at the best of times going back to work! Not that I remember those bad old days too well... Sorry to hear of your woes whilst there Hobbes.

A few weeks ago my youngest daughter announced that she and her boyfriend were going to SS for a week on 7th October. I did query her choice as she has only been in July or August, but they’ve had a great week with only one day of rain on Wednesday and a local friend took them out that day.
Her boyfriend,(his first visit to Corfu), confidently proclaimed before they left that he didn’t get bitten by mozzies.
Turns out he does so was glad of the mozzie milk I supplied 😂
