C,mon peeps, so sad to see this wee forum going down the swanee  :(. I'm guessing FB etc , has taken over for posting your thoughts on the village we all love. What about your favorite memory, best laugh, favourite food, beer or wine served in the village, your must visit place, the church, the beach, your favourite walk, shop etc. So many members, so few posting now.

You are absolutely right Winkie and I laud your trying to wake us all up. However, this time of year was always a bit of a low on here and other forums. You touch on the social media point which I agree has an impact, but I suspect for more reason than the obvious. What with this and the likes of catch-up TV, people simply don't have time to keep up with everything.
I still pop in every day and like to have my beach fix, today was very different and very wet looking. We woke up to 10-15cm (4-6") of very wet snow which the remainder of with is now sparkling as it freezes . A sunny SS tomorrow will be welcome.

Good Morning All, it is a shame that FB etc has taken over, but I think a lot of us actually check in every day just to get a AS fix via the web cam. I certainly do. We walked along that beautiful beach every morning kidding ours selves it combated the over indulgence we enjoyed every day in the wonderful restaurants and bars. Looking forward to our next visit which always seems so long away, roll on next June. :)

Wonder how many visit Lidl for Greek week, I certainly know of a few. Not for us as the likes of the beans gigantes are far too salty, prefer to try making our own version with butter beans, passata and herbs.
