Ive seen the video and pics on the thomas cook site as it was them that we booked through but I think the video and pics may have been taken before the refurbishment that ive heard of so I was wondering if anyone had been recently and took some pics.

read loads of good reports before booking so I think weve made a good choice

Definately a good choice this resort - Kapitanios apt's are nice - but you need fit strong legs for the walk up the hill.
I am ok walking down these days but I usually call for a stretcher bearing party to carry me back up!!!

Colin:
Just how bad is this hill? are we talking Kilimanjaro here? I'm not unfit, a little overwweight perhaps, but we have a 4 year old to cart up and down it for 14 days/nights, ahhh what the heck! it'll be easy walking down it, and i won't remember walking back up it after consuming several Mythos's on the nights we go out into town  ;) ie: every night  ;D

Well expect your legs to feel it at the start - after 2 weeks you will be used  to it, just a short steep bit, and I can make it,
but not every day - see Tassos, he runs the Taxi's - you can always do a deal!!
