Don't care what they are made of, I ike them. I have had them from the tasty corner and have always enjoyed them. Yiannis opposite the Athens bar are aso good. If they are made out of the bits of what is eft over just ask them to leave the eyes in to see you through the week.

Hi Helen
Just read your post with interest, the place could be in Greenland Street which is near Jamaica Street over the way to the Albert Dock. Was it called Acropolis? I was in city centre yesterday wish I had known I could have gone and had a look, this could be a very useful place.Did you have to buy a considerable amount or just what you wanted?
We had been looking for Anessia greek spirit which Yiannis used to give you at the end of your meal when he was at the Grillroom,we couldn't find it anywhere until it eventually popped up in the Lidl when they had a greek food week.I dare say this place would have stocked it.
Thanks for the info, let me know if this is the right place.
I found this address on Sugarvinedesigns site. ;D

Helen, are you talking about those yummy round pittas that seemed to be served everywhere this year with starters? :P We'd never had them before and would love to get our hands on some - shame we don't live anywhere near Liverpool!

Going back to the thread, you can try it in Yannis Snack place opposite Athens Bar. It was a very tasty and cheap lunch last week. Rgds
