I always take extra coathangers (cheap plastic ones) as there never seems to be enough for all of our stuff that needs hanging up. I always leave them behind at the end of the holiday.

i pack a few clothes pegs just in case there aren't any where we stay, i travel very light these days after sept 11th and being away at the time,  every thing had to go in the case  no hand luggage allowed,
the case was that heavy, it took 2 to lift it on the belt .
I gave the case away after using it once, a 5 yr old could have fitted in it comfortably

black bag to put dirty clothes in clothes pegs and line a gel air freshner for the bathroom this year 2 blow up neck rests for sun lounger someone had them last year and told us they were broll if no good will be found in bin outside thomas bay hotel

asda unsweetened cappucinos and a freshener thing for the loo. (Although realised last year i can get them in the supermarket!) Good question though jules. Interesting reading replies!

This is true, we stayed in an apartment in sidari (years ago when it was still nice) next to a couple who brought their own sausages and bacon!!!!!!

I have to take Heather at the Thomas Bay some Scottish Oatcakes! Even young Sophia is starting to enjoy them. .......... Have to make sure I have enough for my own snacking too!!

the year of the foot and mouth outbreak sat at the airport the couple next to us had been told they could not take any food through the airport in greece so they were eating a 2lb block of cheese the husband told us he was full up and wished they had checked before they came to the airport see if they could take it she turned round and told him we still have 1lb of best ham to eat cant repeat what he told her to do with it but we laughed all the way on the plane

I used to always take sugar tea and coffee. Don't bother anymore as you say readily available in the village.

Used to take an umbrella as well - you never know. Don't bother any more though as I beleive if it rains so be it- you can't stop it. lol!!!!!!!!!!!

We always take a small bag with these contents:
A penknife with sharp blade for the beach, cut fruit etc.
A travel washing line for the balcony and a few lightweight pegs,
a few teabags and milk whitener to start us off,
a little electrical screwdriver and spare fuse,
Small (a quater of) Roll of electrical insulation tape,
a few nylon tags and a bit of fishing line to fix broken zips, bags etc
A good holiday is when you don't need to use anything!!
