I prefer to drive to Corfu town, I can do it easily in an hour or less, and then you are your own boss,
no time constraints and go where you want!!

I suppose under your own steam is always the best way - if you don't like where you are you can always move on as well.

We often stop at a village Taverna and try and chat to the locals, but it's always a no pressure day - when you have had enough
- - - toodle off home!!

Under our own steam we discovered Macrades which is a lovely friendly village not to far from Paleo.
