The airport problems must have been severe as the 13:00 flight to leeds/bradford due in at 14:30 british time yesterday didn't land while 07:39 this morning.Thomson laid on another plane to take the outgoing passengers which took off aprox 4hrs late yesterday evening

Yes they were, the runway was flooded, and being built on re-claimed land out in the sea,
I suspect that maybe they had some wash-over as well, which stopped the torrential rain from draining away!
Don was diverted and delayed 3 hours until it rectified!

Do you know the Goldfish song - @around and around and around@ ? well that was us yesterday, three times around the island, and circling San Stef, by then I had enough JD's to be quite aneathitised, so brown trousers werent required ha ha, but at least we were'nt diverted and arrived at SS more or less as I expected at about 15.15

Weather today has been cloudy and quite mild but is now hotting up and I\'m just off down the Star something to watch the game
