Got a new wireless keyboard today and wireless mouse so hoping the spelling improves as keyboard is better set out.

Ok Jules - I think I had better explain this for you! I'll keep it very simple.
Wireless as you have worked out is controlled by a form of radio signal, this radio signal replaces the wire you used to have -
unfortunately that's it!!
It does not have a radio spell checker!
it does not work directly from your brain,
i.e. it doesn't type what you are thinking!!
It won't work when you are at the shops either!!
You - yes you - still have to do exactly the same work as before!!
There - easy - eh!!! - or "Simple's" as they say on the TV
Now - lets all wait for your first wireless typo!!

You will need batteries - they must be put in the right way round - any problems - - - - -
