Still not sure what is happening - Linda wants a Cruise over Xmas - so looking at budgets still.
Ban on over-time at work has hit me a bit as I can earn a lot for working a rest day (40% tax though!)!
Still want even a week at SS!! though.

I thought HR was now 50%?, whatever , we can see who the "money-bags" is around here LOL....and then , at the other end of the scale [ sorry if this sounds a bit serious ] I asked my son's girlfriend where she and her family were going on holiday,she replied

"We dont go on holidays"
no rancour or chippyness about it, just "as it is" truth ....taught me a lesson about smugness I can tell you
Xmas for us will be looking after 3 octogenarians ...sorry for going "off topic"

Hopefully the Canaries.. Last year in Fuerteventura was great as was Gran Canaria the three previous years.
