Welcome to San Stefanos (NW Corfu) > Where to stay

Do they have hair dryers at the Stamatis, anyone know??

Jules:
Hairdryers only take up to much room anyway in an already overcrowded suitcase. :)

Depends on Priorities!! Linda = Hairdryer or else!! LOL

Hi all, well we had a lovely time in San Stef, but have to say we were very disappointed with the Stamatis.  Nice big apt but horrible bathroom, really small for 4 of us and disgusting shower with a shower curtain that you couldn't get away from, it just stuck to you wherever you stood or sat!  The balcony could have been nice but it had horrible green plastic all over it.  The owner was very grumpy too.
Luckily we moved to the Delfino for our second week which totally blew us away.  Well worth the extra money and lovely and clean.

tonyco1:
I think you were just unlucky on this occasion!
Every Apartment in S S, that we have stayed in over the years, and thats been a lot, has been really clean.
Some were older some brand new - but always clean!
But as a lot of people have also previously said, we spend little time in the Apartment.
We wash, maybe eat breakfast and sleep there.
The extra luxury of the surroundings in the Delfino - to me (just my opinion) - are not worth paying the extra!
For that equates to the price of several nights and meals out! - Money better invested! I like a good deal!!
After all - most people are only there in SS for a week or two!!
I could even put up with sticky shower curtains for that length of time!
Also - as per the many previous reports on the Delfino, the meals there are reported as nothing special for the money!

Anyone else agree - disagree?

hendrix46:
Totally agree TCool. Much prefer to spend my money on going out. :) Also like to visit all the different tavernas and restaurants. Just like to go with the flow. :) Haha
