Don1 The Worlds Unluckiest Man!

They say lightning never strikes in the same place twice but in the case of Don1 it strikes 3 times....literally!

After being diverted to Kefalonia en-route to San Steph in June due to storms he and Sandra had a scary landing in Corfu last week in an equally bad storm.

However, I have just learnt that poor Don & Sandra are still in Corfu after their flight was cancelled last night due to severe storms!

We were booked on the same flight as Don but arranged to travel back on Monday instead.

I think Don should have his own plane to fly to and from Corfu so no one else has to share in his remarkable bad luck!

Hope your rearranged flight was OK Don.

when we could not get out the barras as water running down road was so bad we thought it would be a miracle if they got away one plane was sent to another island then flewto crete to drop some cruise people off due in today but may have to wait till sunday

Not too bad...... Put up in 4* Corfu Palace hotel... Only 9€ for one rum and coke!!!  Got home at about 17.30. Claim being made ASAP £25 per whole 8 hours... So 18 hours = £100..... Come to Daddy!!!!


Missing you all already.......... Any who met Phil And Diane in Aquarius... They appear to be 23 hours 45 minutes late!

Seriously though - other planes were landing and taking off in corfu - smells a bit that you were stranded!

Last nights Thomson Manchester not due until 23.40 tonight. Check CEEFAX!!!!!! My mate Di from work is on it.... Hopefully as Corfu forecast is worse for tonight than yesterday according to Deb from Orchard restaurant in Canal D'Amour !!

I had your Mythos sitting round the Little Prince Pool this afternoon.....Yammas!!

Really!! didn't realise - we were free on the Sat and would have loved to pop in - did not realise it was that close!
We ended up going to Cadbury world on the way there - to pass time really!
A mythos and a catch up would have been Great!!
Bound to do it again some time  - will let you know!!
