Libra holidays, a couple of other related companies under the owner's umbrella organisation have gone bust today.
Allbury Travel Group, which traded as Libra Holidays, Argo Holidays and JetLife, ceased trading with 100 holidaymakers still abroad and about 4,000 customers with forward bookings, according to the Civil Aviation Authority.

Have to feel very sorry for anyone affected in this way. We have had companies fold just before we were due to go and immediately after we have returned. It is the most deflating of sensations when you have looked forward to a holiday so long and then lose it.

If you are like me - I hate the big bully boy companies that dominate the market, but they do offer security!
- - - - or do they any more these days?
It's so worrying when ever you book - will the company stay healthy!!
British Airways is starting to look rocky again and they are an institution, it's getting to be a crazy world!
