i tony as you say you like to stop in aviotes for a refreshment drink my wife an i always stop at the taverna called under the vines it does one of the best pizza we thing in and around san stef/sidari and its cheap last year it cost 4euro it was big  enough for the two of us and im a big person hungry all the time but it fills me up the view from the taverna is fantastic olso you can watch the village life go by we will definitely be going back this year.yammos mike.

Mmm, funny that - it was nowhere near ready when I left on 9th December.
Don't think I've ever seen anything done quickly over there - everythings snail's pace - you know, a la Greek-style!! Unless of course they've gotten a move on since then!

Hopefully it'll be finished before the start of the season eh?

Mind you - I remember driving on the roads when it was just a mud track or the road base only,
maybe it was drivable without the finishing touches!

Yes, mud track - holes on mud track full of water - trucks on road - diggers - men standing round with hands on hips. Get the picture?? But yes I suppose it was just mud tracks  - dare I say it - in the olden days!  ;D
