I agree Crocs are ugly - - -  and we are in the wrong posting for this by the way -
but if you have ever worn them, and the real ones I mean, they are so comfortable you won't believe it.
Your feet never smell as bacteria can't penetrate the material, waterproof, light as a feather!
Trainers in hot sun - you must be mad! Feet smell like dead bodies after a few hours! LOL

I always wear a pair of secret socks with my trainers so they usually dont start to smell. I agree....if you wore them without socks you're in trouble!!

They could chuck them in a frier and pass them off for Saganaki!!

God knows how I posted about footwear on this thread....I was trying to work my Blackberry, type on my laptop and drink a cuppa at the same time!!

expensive but worth it! make you work your thighs and bum as you walk.
I should have had them last summer and then I probably wouldn't have broken my foot!
(and what's more they look nicer than crocs!)

Try as i might i cannot see how banning crocs would improve the Greek economy.Having said that i think it would improve The fashion of the feet.
The intoxication of your first visit to San Stefanos must be getting to you.

Sure isn't, and the locals have another 3 day strike lined up. With the Ł/euro sinking down to less than 1.07 looks as if this year's jollies are going to be a tad hard. For the moment the measures seem to have calmed the money markets as the latest Greek bonds all sold yesterday.
