If it causes high Greek inflation, expect the Travel industry to strike as wages dissolve!!

Watching this situ like a hawk.

Although i don't like the price increases that we'll encounter because of the Greek budget decisions i can live with it.

But strikes that could affect the airport, etc i won't like and if it does happen whilst i'm there or more specifically travelling to Corfu or trying to get out of Corfu this June then i'll give Greece a miss next year.

Wow, their petrol used to be way below ours, last year it was about a euro per litre. To be dearer it will now be something like 1.30/40 euro per litre I guess. >:(

This is true - I noticed a big difference in my shopping bill towards the end of last year. The petrol had already gone up last year and another increase is going to be bad news. I'm in UK at the minute and have noticed a difference here too from this time last year. Greece used to be a country that was inexpensive to live in. Not now - and the fall in the euro hasn't helped!  :-\
