San Stefanos and Arillas Beaches - will winter storms do damage this year?

I was wondering if the Bad Storms that Robbed Arillas of its Beach last year, will reverse the Damage or make it worse this year?
Also San Stef Beach had lots of it's sand moved around the corner to the Nudie beach section, will it all change again?
Any thoughts, especially from those living there?

The webcams do not seem to show any major erosion as far as you can see. Hopefully Arillas will be in better shape than last May.

I wonder how much of the cliff path from San Stef to Arillas has survived the winter as it gets narrower every year.

i have been on the arillas forum and seen the picture of the area and i can see that the weather has done alot of damage to the sea front its washed the lampost down and corrosioned part of the sea defences on the road also brought loads of peebles to the street it has also gained more beach than last year locals say it will be ready by may as the saying goes no problems we hope because its a lovelly place to go to for the day some good eaten taverna,s especially armourada restaurant highly recommended. yammos mike.

So much for all the stones they piled along the road towards the Kaloudis, Maggie's photos seemed to show the damage is worse than 2009.

i have seen a couple of pics on facebook showing the damaged beach in SS, the beach snack hut is ruined and was up in the play area in front of Havana Bar !!!!! and the beach front road in Arillas was lost completely at one stage BUT i am told this happens most years and all should be good by the time the season starts..................not so sure on the snack hut !!!!

Do you mean the Beach Kantina, run by Capt Nikkos and Leon?

It's a Caravan - and was battered last year as well!!
