This Will Totally Ruin San Stephanos

<< < (7/18) > >>

tonyco1:
It will hurt the main economy of this part of Corfu - so crazy!
I am not surprised that it's a political grenade!
Glad it hopefully will get buried!

swedebasher:
Where I live we have a 30 field of windmills just off shore and they do not really spoil the view of the North Sea much (sarcasm intended), but it is unusual to find all 30 working. Apart from the fact they cost a £million each to install and have had repeated problems with the gearboxes, cables and joints requiring relaying the cables and at hushed up cost, it is highly dubious if they are at any stretched imagination cost effective, even if the climate change alarmists would have you think so. Having said all that I would not like to see them at Paradise.

tonyco1:
No way - it will start a destructive string of events and lots of people will think twice if it ever got off the ground!

rickyishere:
What a shame, if this windfarm is built we will not return to the area, we enjoy it because it is so peacefull and the views are great, build this and its time to move on.

tonyco1:
Everyone feels the same - but for now anyway - it doesn't look like happening!!
