Thomsons on line seem to have some good offers on for 1st week in October.
Self catering from £250 approx includes flights/transfers and half board at Thomas bay hotel £424.
So you are having 2 holidays in SS this year, lucky you.

October Prices similar to May/June usually and still a little busy, dies down on the 3rd / 4th week.
Chris2 will be staying there soon and can get you a quote for one week, 1st in October.

Vicky Pool can do 10 euros per person per night for a studio on self catering - so if you can get cheap flights might be worth looking into as indie travel.......www.vickypoolapartments.com

That's €140 per week for a couple, which is a very average price for going private.
I would do what we do and surf around to price-check, surprising what bargains are out there!

I have been in SS during the last three October half term breaks. Its amazingly quiet and peaceful and I have been very lucky with the weather. Many tavernas and bars have closed up by then but it is still well worth being there. Easy jet still do flights from Manchester or Bristol. Even though I love my time in high summer it is wonderful to be there during that week!

I can but agree - I just try not to break any bones though!! LOL

Hi stressed056
Was interesting to see you go at half term - have often wondered about doing it - as I can only have school holidays but didn't want to go and there be a sort of 'closed down' feeling. Does it get cold at night and where do you usualy stay then? What places are still sort of lively? Have only been in the height of summer - so would love to experience it differently - is the sea cold then? Any mor einfo would be fab! Thank you
