Hi JustL@@kin
Thanks for the updates. As I said in my last post this map is extremely useful to visitors to the area. That of course includes our forum members. You should be proud of your efforts.
The Romanza is bookable through Thomson & Portland and not Thomas Cook. You can also book via the owner direct by visiting www. romanza.com.
From next season Portland will cease to exist .
I am certain our members will inform you of any other errors or omissions to make it even better still.
Thanks again

I hadn't realised that you had put all these locations in the Map!! JustL@@KiN
BIG Pat on the back for you - - really well done - - you have done all San Stefofiles proud!!
The first place we ever stayed in was the Nikkos Apartments in 1983, they are still just above the old Harbour and below the church, slightly towards the Golden Beach Hotel.
I can just make them out on the map, but not logged , so there's a little update!
Brilliant effort, a pleasure to look at and easy to follow, keep up the good work, lots of people will now enjoy your efforts.

Justlookin,

Excellent work!  We stayed at the Mythos apartments last year and even though google earth did not show the apartments, you did.  I am in awe of you, I'm not worthy!   ;)

TonyCo1 - I've put a marker in the position I think you mean, Direct me from there if its in the wrong position?

Thanks all for the kind comments, I have to say that credits go to ...

Dimitris Kourkoulos of http://www.arillas.com
For the property locations of arillas and sanstefanos from these maps...

http://arillasmap.awardspace.com/gmap_arillas/ , coded and maintained by myself at the mo.

http://www.maplib.net/map.php?id=2240 , maintained by Dimitris.

also, Dennis Cakebread of www.agiosgeorgios.co.uk

and of course yourselves from this forum/Site, I've been reading and grabbing information for a few months/years!.

I've just wrote a bit of code and populated a database, using information gleaned from all these sources.

The "North West Corfu Googlemap" has been linked from this map for a while now

http://arillasmap.awardspace.com/

I've not promoted it before because the code is not finished and now probably never will be :(
I will however continue to update the database now and then.

Enjoy the Map.

JL
Move the marker to the right just in front and a fraction left of the centre of the Golden Beach Hotel.
They are located on the other side of the road (on the sea side of the road), magnify the map and you will notice some white buildings jutting out & over
(to the right slightly) of the old Harbour. They are just left as we view it, of the road that goes down to the beach outside the Golden Beach Hotel.
If not sure I should be able to find a photo with a link to view them.

tonyco1 -  Thanks for the directions, I think its somewhere near now, more directions please!.

Tip:

When linking to the map use...

http://arillasmap.awardspace.com/googlemap/

When linking to the map and specifying a property use...

http://arillasmap.awardspace.com/googlemap/?item=145

the '?item=145' is a unique number assigned to a property, in this case 'Rose Garden Apartments'
Using this method locates the property and opens the property marker popup.

The above property Link Can Be found by clicking on the 'Chain link' image to the left of the property name
in the marker popup, after clicking the property marker.

Or Clicking the 'Send PageLink Via Email' option under the Details Tag, after clicking the property marker.

Your email client should open and you can cut'n'paste the link from there.

Clear as mud ;)

Are you sure? I am here at the moment and all I can see at the marker
position is a parking area?

Confused!!!!

Unless they knocked them down since.
Very old box like - 4 x APts, above old harbour, v/near Church, and other side of road to Golden Beach Hotel,
Strange!
