Only just over a week until I go back to SS. Wonder what the weather will hold this year?

Not to be negative but it's not stopped raining (garden is happy at least) for last 2 days, some flights yesterday were diverted to Italy, Athens and Thessolinka, however forecast looking good so far from Sunday onwards........ :-\

Ta lesley.... have looked at the latest ten day forecast. It does not look good! but i hope it will have rained itself out by the tiome I get there on the 23rd!

Accuweather are pretty good with their predictions- on my last fortnight they only got two days drastically wrong, which is decent for forecasters who normally cant get tomorrow right!!

Don texted me today from Turkey saying he was getting a spell of "iffy" weather!
SO - it's a bit variable this year in October it seems!

Actually got the washing dried yesterday and this morning as it stopped raining and the  :) came out, so fingers crossed for everyone who is here and is arriving.  Even with the past few days rain its been mild and today it's pleasant and mild with temps in the 20c's so that's a bonus too......

Lovely hot afternoon here by Heathrow - Walked the dogs around 2pm and it was sweaty hot in the sun,
5pm - had to put the heating on - got damn cold quickly!!
No frost though - - - yet!!
