ITS A GIRL XXX
The weather is great--a fair bit of mist in the morning in San Stefanos
There is no sign of work at / in the Golden beach and the new footpath at the junction is coming along (slowly)
-
and from what i can read, it's a lot warmer than here.
Mist over the sands - nice image Lizzie, all you need is the skirling of the bagpipes floating through the mist whilst the villagers toast the local kleftiko and raise a glass of the amber bead to all who those who come to enjoy the local fayre.
A lamb's a lamb, for aw' that!! :)
-
lizzie - Please ban bagpipes. I can take the mist, I can take the Chinese masseurs, but much as I love the rich and terrifying sound of the pipes on the hills, it isn't quite what I want as wander along the sea's edge.
Perhaps, though, a Scottish Dancing session at the Condor would help to create a truly multi-cultural experience. Time for Don and Tony to get their kilts out?
-
Beware Jimbo, Lizzie may be Scots !
Also Jimbo it is illegal to get ones kilt out in public even if between consenting adults.
-
Also beware Jimbo, I was once accused of being racist for mentioning a haggis to a tall person from Scotland!!!
-
As I have a touch of Scottish DNA, (from the Aberdeen area), I guess I could wear a kilt,
but not in SS please, unless it's a wedding etc.
The thought of spindly Don legs in any form of Skirt, would turn all the local boys a sickly green colour I would think!! LOL
-
Don's legs are a titanic masterpiece of muscle compared to mine. If I ever wore a kilt it'd look like a carpet drying on a clothes prop. Thank God I'm half-Welsh and not half Scot. Actually, that's first time I've ever said anything positive about being half-Welsh. Gosh.
-
Ahh ! that explains everything Jim,
A lot of the welsh have legs like that - it comes from using the back of sheep as a kind of zimmer frame!!
(OK - it was a joke - don't send me to the PC court, or quote human rights!).
-
Cyraddw ap chrysau nw goradai!
-
Beth yr ydych yn ceisio i ddweud Jim
-
Our line props are missing... Hull next on search list !
-
As the actress said to the bishop...
-
and the Bishop said "D i n g - - D o n"!!!
-
Are the posts about the Scots English humour ??
Lofyscot have you noticed ; when you come in from the airport the mist in the valley is just like the glens north of Scotland - some of the dance steps are the same as ours ; all over the world inc. here have bagpipes and the kilt - MAKS ME FAIR HAME SICK.
lANG MAE YER LUM REEK - TRANSLATED FRO OUR ENGLISH FREINDS - WE WISH YOU GOOD HEALTH ::)
-
I don't know about the rest but I'm a fully fledged 100% Highlander !
-
That quote takes me back Lizzie. My mother, a Glaswegian, would always end it with "wi' other bodies coal!"
-
I don't know about the rest but I'm a fully fledged 100% Highlander != Don
Quote:
You are 100% something then Don!! - - - LOL
