Title: satnav for trip from airport
Post by: smudgum on June 30, 2011, 01:28:33 AM
Only four days until we return to San Stefanos!!

Last time we hired a car and used Tonyco1's excellent directions to get from the airport.  At home we use satnav (TomTom) to go on any journey.  Can we now use it in Corfu as an extra to the directions?

Has your Satnav got European coverage or just UK. If only UK you can upgrade for a fee

You can always use the directions again!! LOL
Don't forget Satnavs can get confused as there are three Agios (San) Stefanos on the island, so make sure you program in via Arillas.

If it's a Tom Tom, the European cover doesn't include Greece.
I don't know how much it is to get that cover.

Yup, did a quick check and our European maps don't include Corfu.  I've printed off the original directions which did the job last time!
