I would just like to thank all forum members who have posted any comments or views in the last few months as I was virtually housebound after complications after my last operation in October last year looking at all the post each day was something that kept me going and striving to make my holiday in July which I did. As I face another operation next Tuesday I know that I will be able to look at all the post each day and see what everyone is up to in AS or booking to go back Thankyou all Yammas . Diane

Diane - it was lovely to meet you and Tony, and I know that I can say on behalf of everybody that we send you all our love.

When it's tough, just remember the short walk down to your pitch on the beach in front of Waves, the sound of the sea, Stephanos' cheerful morning face, and above all the blue water and the misty hint of islands.

I promise, technology allowing, that I'll send frequent news when we're back. And meanwhile, big hugs!!!

Di, we will be thinking of you, we didn't meet, but I am sure we will in the future when you are well again.
I have enjoyed your posts and it's almost as if we do know each other.

Didn't want to tempt fate so have waited till seen Consultant today the operation was the best I could have hoped for and he was able to close the wound being referred to chronic pain team now to see if they can provide some help with the masses of scar tissue that could be a problem later but really don't want anything else doing  surgical wise thanks for all your support.

Yes Di they say I can go and should be safest on plane they say as on warfarin. Relief but not well yet so am in 2 minds about going yet. Will aim to though x
