Hello all!
I am new to here so bear with me.
I am heading to Teresa Apartments this weekend and its our first holiday there.
Is there anything we need to prepare for staying in B&B. is there a fridge etc?
What would you recommend doing, places top eat etc?
Also one more, what is transfer time?
Thanks,
Charlie x ;D

hi i would just say if you want to make hot drinks in your room take tea coffee ect with you as you will have to pay a lot for it in the shops also hairspray ect and there is no chemist in the village so take a few bits and bobs with you never had a bad meal but the little prince for the sizzling steak is a must do plus zorbas and mythicas and the barras have a great time

Charlie have a look at this thread Food, Glorious Food ! Apologies Oliver ! You can find it in the eating out section. I can assure you that if the food was bad we would never eat there again. These are all places I would like to eat at on every visit. As you can see, even in three weeks we have regrets over missing places out.
Eat well..... Don & Sandra.

Transfer time? we were about 90 minutes back in June on the thomson coach. Seems long but some nice scenery once you've left the outskirts of Corfu Town.
Yes, there is a fridge in the B&B rooms; very handy. In the B&B rooms you've also got a shower cubicle with doors!!
You must go to Teresa Greek night on a Wednesday; ab fab! You'll love Leo, Fannis and Nikos who run the place. Great views over the bay from the pool and bar terrace. Great staff there as well.
It's a small hike up the hill from San Stef village, but not too taxing.
You'll find plenty of reviews of restaurants on here. I think it's fair to say we all have our favourites in San Stef.
We visited Little Prince - ace sizzling steak.
Nafsika Hotel - liked the food there.
Waves on the beach - had lunch there a few times; my wife thought the stuffed tomatoes were divine - she even cooked some for tea this evening at home - aren't i lucky!
Paradise - larger portions; good food.
Teresa itself - had two meals there on an evening before going into town and greek night food is v.good. Also very reasonable for lunch.
Ozzy Oils - v.nice food and twist to standard greek fare, but nice change.
Beachcombers - on the beach, great views of the sunset, not particularly greek i suppose, but high quality stuff - we visited it twice during our 2 weeks.
Finally Zorbas - OK a bit touristy, plenty of greek dancing, fire, etc, but it was my wife's favourite - lovely selection of different lamb dishes we had on the 3 occasions we visited!
Can honestly say we didn't have a bad meal in our 2 weeks and great value. Even the more expensive beachcomber was only 50 euros for the two of us, in total, for 3 courses and a bottle of wine..
Enjoy! Because we certainly did. It was only our 2nd time in San Stef (stayed 16 years ago - what took us so long?!). Almost certainly returning next year...hopefully to Terezas, but if not, somewhere else in San Stef.

Thank you!!

Hi Charlie. Welcome to the forums as well. You will not be disappointed with the Teresa. We stay there every year in the S/C apartments to ensure we get a view from our balcony. The family are great and will really look after you on your stay. Any problems and just ask and its's done as soon as possible - not that you will get any problems though. The poolside is lovely to relax by during the day and it's not to bad a walk to the village for your evening meals either.

Hi Charlie
We stayed in the B&B rooms 2 years ago and there was a fridge and a kettle.
Have a great holiday

Charlie, You will be looked after by one of the nicest families in the resort!
Look forward to a great holiday, I would recommend Mythica, Beachcomber Bistro, Olympia, Sunset Taverna as must try places for the evening, then also look at the Little Prince and Zorba's - you can't go wrong at any of these, but all of the eateries in the resort are very, very good and hard to split!
Welcome to the Forum, enjoy your stay!
If you like Diving or the snorkel, go and see Bev at the Diving Shop, anything Holistic, go and see Gwen almost next door to her.
Lots, (but not too many), of other great shops and Bars to explore as well!

Check out the Abba girls in the Condor bar as well; we thought they were pretty good and entertaining. They also do a blues brothers tribute on the same night.
-
And if you've not seen the girls from Abba morph into the Blues Brothers you know you'll want to soon, because tonight's the night!!
-
is that not rod stuart ;)
-
No! I think it's Rod Stewart! ;)
-
sorry it was close ;D
-
yeah! close enough for me :)
-
If Rod (English Poseur) Stewart was Neil Young It'd be close!
-
Oi! Don - lets be having no more of that semi-Racist Mantra against the English if you don't mind,
we just won't have it any more!!
Linda will skin you alive if you have a go at Rod "the Mod" Stewart!
Wee Willy Wallace tried that - he said the very same thing to King Edward I, - - - and see where it got him!!
-
Same as King Charles ????????????????? No spaniel jokes please my old cocker!!
Sorry that's the English, the Scots and the Welsh who have taken the hump... Shame when out of the ten members of our immediate families all three countries are represented. At least twice each..
-
If Rod (English Poseur) Stewart was Neil Young It'd be close!
If Rod Stewart is an English Poseur how come he has a Thistle tattooed on one of his upper arms, and the Stewart coat of arms tattooed on the other upper arm, when he's out and about in LA he's seldom seen without his Scotland football shirt on, English Poseur?...I think not!! 8)

Please do not take this seriously Colin... As Tony says His wife will now be after my blood! He was good though when with the JEFF BECK GROUP!
Roderick Stewart was born in Highgate, North London, the youngest of Robert and Elsie Stewart's five children.[4] Robert was Scottish and had been a master builder in Leith outside of Edinburgh, while Elsie was English and had grown up in Upper Holloway in North London.[5] Married in 1928,[5] the couple had two sons and two daughters while living in Scotland, then they moved to Highgate.[4] Rod came after an eight-year gap following his youngest sibling and was born at home during World War II, half an hour after a German V-2 rocket fell on the local Highgate police station.[4][5]

I'm not taking it seriously Don just joining in the 'Banter' :) I know Rod is a born and bred cockney sparra, he's just fiercley proud of his Scottish roots,Duuno why when we English have the better Footie team! :P

So why does he support one that tends to deny its Scots or British status? Oops too too controversial !!
-
Indeed!
-
Indeed - indeed!! I think we need to get away from the football club mentality anyway!
It all gets far too tribal! Just support your chosen team / Country and enjoy!
-
Scrap countries!!! ... that'll save a multitude of problems! LOL
-
Now you really are talking!! LOL
