Fingers crossed - not Coaches or Corfu Airport please!!

They would be daft to bite the hand that feeds them - they need the Tourists behind them!

Thinking the same today. Half of the Eurozone is in the deep mire! Still expect fudge after fudge from the EU.

Going to San Stef for the first time on 7th June. We are staying at the Nafsica. Usually go to Kassiopi and Aghios Gordios
Anne

That's where my wife and i stayed on our 1st visit in 1993! We didn't return until last year though and stayed at Terezas. This year we've done Ejet and private booking at Fedra Mare, arriving on 7 June as well.

looks like i will have to do  my duty and keep the bar at the fedra open till bb gets to ss
someone has to do it ::) ::)

Cheers Chris - 2.30 in the morning i reckon - bit of a difference from about 2.30 in the afternoon! If you're still there at 2.30 in the morning i'll be very impressed! ;D

That's the point - we help each other and make new friends - we all feel this way!

Update to the Ejet flight issue i raised last night. Been in London all day for work; just tapped into my emails and there's one from Ejet.
It's an apology - wrong message went out last night - no cancellation, but they have moved the flight from 06:50 on the Monday morning to 17:50 Monday evening. Bit of a shame really because we like early morning flights and we were planning an afternoon by the pool, before our 1st evening out in San Stef. Now we wont get to San Stef until 2.30 next morning i guess :(

Cheers Tony. I'll have a look.

Just got a reply email from ejet - reckon it's an automated one. But it says thanks for my email and says we are receiving a high volume of emails at the mo - will reply soon. I reckon they've sent out emails with the wrong messages to hundreds of people and suddenly their mailboxes are getting inundated this evening. Fingers crossed. Hope it is just a flight time change, not a cancellation.

Cheers Tony - hope you have better luck than me.

HELP needed guys!

Rather than start a new thread need some advice.

Ironic isn't it that after posting my 1st 2-day evening itinery on this thread, i've rec'd an email in last hour from Ejet saying cancelled our 7th June flight and that it was scheduled for 17:50 out of BTL. That confused me because they were telling me our flight was cancelled - fine - and when i checked the booking on ejet website with my login it was showing 17:50 take-off, but my email from back in sept (when we booked) said it was a 06:50 flight.

Anyone think the email rec'd tonight should've said "We've changed the TIME of your flight on 7 June"?

Anyway i want to phone them, but can i find a customer services phone number on the Ejet website? No.

Can anyone help? An uptodate phone number for Ejet?

We arrive at the airport on 7th June lunchtime - nice early flights on Ejet from Bristol. Should get to Fedra Mare by about 3.00pm i'd think - that gives us a few hours to chill by the pool - hang on - i expect my wife will chill by the pool whilst i'm sent into the village to get some provisions!
First night - prob Zorbas - my wife really liked it n there and to be fair i thought it was v.good and lovely atmosphere - OK a little 'typical greek entertainment' but good fun all the same that gets you in the mood. Then we'll go into the Condor and sample the 'entertainment' - a bit corny but by 10.30 on your 1st night who cares?! ;D
plus the owner gave us a few free drinks during our 2 weeks last June because we were regs i guess and we always like to have a chat - u know just being friendly. We also had a laugh because anytime the music was on the bar staff would suddenly clap to it for a couple of seconds - brilliant! Probably had to be there, but it was one of those moments that we had a childish laugh about ;D

2nd night - maybe Ozzy Oils - is Tuesday the barby night there?

Just had a look at their website. Can't book flights through it, but did run an airport car parking check thru' it. It directs you to "holiday extras" website and i found it to be £4 dearer for a four day parking price than the comparable price thru' Bristol airport's own website.

One also has to be careful booking flights only thru' some agents, as Ryanair and Ejet sometimes only allow bookings thru' their websites. I think the likes of Thomascook and Thomson's are OK. I also know of a mate a few years ago who booked a cheap flight thru' a local t. agent, it was with an airline which was a 'rookie' and it went bust...whoops!

I'm sure they're fine, but in current climate i'm a little wary.

Who knows who we'll meet? But what's certain is that you meet all sorts in Benidorm ::)

Monday 7th June until Friday 18th June, staying at Fedra Mare 8)

Don't like wishing my time away but looking forward to it already, but i can wait ;D.

UK winter to come, let it snow let it snow - love the stuff - break on the South Coast late Jan (can't afford Canaries like some of you on here!), Cheltenham Festival in March (horses for those not in the know), benidorm for long weekend in April - oops, let it slip again! - then San Stef in June.

On another note i have seen some analysts' reports today that are saying both TUI and Thomas Cook still have plenty of spare capacity and their shares have been marked down, as a result.
Deduce from this that there will be price adjustments downwards in the New Year, as Tony C has predicted.

Well, We just booked two weeks in the Thomas Bay (half Board) for £932 for two end August 2010,
£465 each in T Bay is a great price - Obviously we will eat out a bit - but consider the cost of two weeks Breakfasts and evening meals for two - - - and add that to an apt - it's truly great value!! The Little Prince is dearer for self catering!! work that one out!!
Flight / transfer inc.

Last July we went independent, £150 Easyjet flights, €220 (about £189) per week apt Theodosia, plus transfers cost £350 each then x 2.

Plus the cost of every meal, worked out dearer than the T/Bay deal at the same time which was around £130 each dearer on the base price.

Sale prices for today:
End June (21st - for 2 weeks) Price £454 each - T Bay,
£410 each B&Breakfast in Teresas, and  £396 in Romanza B&B.
Room only deals, £356 in Barras,  - £340 Stamatis, - Best deal  is £310 in the Olga!!

These all from Gatwick!! All two weeks!

I have saved the web page for the sceptics and can email it.
They will have another sale over Xmas period!

Gatwick prices are reasonable. Teresas was £800 s.c. and £920 B&B, with early morn departure. For us with parking and petrol that would another £100 on top, plus an awful 2hr+ drive. Bristol with a lift to airport, still over £1000 B&B, so still happy with our Ejet + Fedra Mare at £750, incl. taxi transfer.

But i can see your point Tony. If you live in the S.E. or say, Reading or Southampton Gatwick is a good option.

Not a fan of half-board to be fair. First few days are OK then we get bored even if food is good quality.

One thing is for sure wherever we stay/whenever we all go to SS we'll all have a fab time, that i'm sure about ;D
