Hi Mikee
You should think yourself lucky, if you had not changed your plans you would have being arriving on the 18th.That would have been 2 whole weeks.Would that have meant double Metaxas.7 star of course.

Ok then .. see you on the 25th, some God awful early morning flight in from Luton  :(

Its tempting Yannis - I have to say, but with 2 credit cards already I don't want another one !

I'll just lose the odd couple of cents here and there on the exchange, after all I hear YOU will be buying
most of the rounds in any case  :D  :D  ;D

Hi Mikee

Yes the rooms we have used in previous years have kettles, you will enjoy The Romanza its a great place

Yammas

Spesh I was just reading a report on Holiday Watchdog re the Romanza where the poster stated there were NO kettles? They did at least say the showers were proper walk in cubicles with sliding doors unlike those completely open ones, or ones with a silly curtain that you normally find in Greece?

Exchange rate at SS was before commission.

Ahhh Gordon - you missed a vital statistic there  :o, might have to change up ££ in the UK after all

Trust me - time passes fast!!

Why it must seem like only yesterday you were 59 eh Tony  ;D  :D  ;D

25
Thanks Gordon - thats exactly the info I wanted to know .. I'll change my money over there in that case

26
Does anyone know what exchange rate you can get in SS itself at the moment?

With the PO even, offering 1-1726 today I am glad I didn't opt for one of these
20 - 30 day currency deals, as it was less than that 20+ days ago .. seems to be rising a 'little'

I think I will just take sterling out with me and look for the best rates out there, just need to
know what I can expect at the minute 'on the ground' so to speak !

Did he have a matching hankie on his head?  :D  :D

Anyone tell us if they have had to have 2 rooms at tereza's before? We have booked a family and smaller room to accomodate the 5 of us and we were wondering if they would be close together or not?

I think a request for such, put to your travel operator should sort that out Ian/Sarah
Failing that I'm sure emailing Terezas direct would help .. someone one here will have their email I'm sure

Where do most people get their insurance from ?

Just looked on Compare the market, there are 2 week insurance cover deals
from as little as £12 with what 'looks to be' similar cover from say M&S or the PO

I guess the fact the latter two are 5 or 6 times that amount suggests you get what you pay for?

Anyone know of good companies - I don't want to pay Tui's prices but don't want a fly by night
travel policy that doesn't pay out IF called upon to  .. thanks

Home and Bargain have a good selection again very competetive prices, also jungle formula  mossie spray which I used earlier this year in Cape Verde( not the calypso brand) it smelt alright and seemed to work ok I didn't get bitten.

Yes thats good stuff, as is anything with a high concentrate of deet (not good on the lungs though) !!

Where were you in CV Joan .. Sal, I've been out there too .. no mozzies tho' when I was there
