I would definitely exclude the Mango Bar staff from any criticism. Last year and this year they have been nothing but friendly and cheerful.
Must say, though, that in the later end of July we camped outside Mistral; there were far fewer people down that end of the beach, probably because there was a teeny bit of in-shore seaweed.

Rod - That's the trouble with infidelity. It's great for a while exploring the nooks and crannies, but then the doubts set in.
I think you've put your finger (if you'll excuse the metaphor) on part of the charm of San Stef: it's a relaxed and comfortable cuddly marriage rather than a super-charged momentary fling.
The village will forgive you. We will all forgive you. A helpful penance is to put a ten Euro note in an envelope and send it to Little Prince with a card saying "Red wine for Jimbo."

Or possible in his notes for his university Greek course. Where he would have found that the the Greek for old is "paleo" not "palio". But "palio" might be a swearing version.

Having lived in the African bush with the some of the most poisonous snakes in the world (mambas, cobras, puff adders) I can safely say that there's not much on Corfu that will harm you.
Walk in a heavy-footed way and they will run away because they are sensitive to vibrations. If you happen across a light-brown snake, just stand still. It will go away. They prefer frogs!

I have just sent the following to Tripadvisor:
"We are dismayed to see that silverstar007's review of eating at Delfino Blu in San Stefanos, NW Corfu, has been removed. It was entirely fair, intelligent, and well-written. Moreover, she has been going to San Stefanos since she was a child, and her visit to Delfino Blu was because she had eaten there many times before.
I sincerely hope that this removal was not at the instigation of the owner. If so, I would like to register my protest, and will henceforth regard the integrity of Tripadvisor as suspect.
Please advise.

The original topic was Flight versus Package. It's impossible to give a simple answer to that question. Prices fluctuate for flights, and prices for Thomson vary from day to day.
