I guess so, and that means a big chunk of the populace at work.

Where I live we have a 30 field of windmills just off shore and they do not really spoil the view of the North Sea much (sarcasm intended), but it is unusual to find all 30 working. Apart from the fact they cost a £million each to install and have had repeated problems with the gearboxes, cables and joints requiring relaying the cables and at hushed up cost, it is highly dubious if they are at any stretched imagination cost effective, even if the climate change alarmists would have you think so. Having said all that I would not like to see them at Paradise.

Sure isn't, and the locals have another 3 day strike lined up. With the £/euro sinking down to less than 1.07 looks as if this year's jollies are going to be a tad hard. For the moment the measures seem to have calmed the money markets as the latest Greek bonds all sold yesterday.

It was used as the theme tune to the series several years back (1977) that was set in Crete and featured Wanda Ventham, Stefan Grief, and Jack Hedley. Was composed by Yannis Markopolous. The series was written by Michael J. Bird who wrote a similar series called 'Aphrodites Inheritance' that was set in Cyprus.

Hooray for that.

I thank you Sir. I wonder if that person who wanted to be on my contact list that I had never heard of (....@hotmail.com) came from the Arillas site that I was looking at about the road damage? Good job I deleted the message then.

This really ought to be pinned on a thread of its own!

So much for all the stones they piled along the road towards the Kaloudis, Maggie's photos seemed to show the damage is worse than 2009.

So it happened then, they were bailed out today. Strikes everywhere yesterday and the first general strike planned soon. I sadly foresee lots of strife over the stringent cutbacks now necessary.

Any sign that George will be back in the Mistral this year, missed that place in 2009, my favourite eating place.

The webcams do not seem to show any major erosion as far as you can see. Hopefully Arillas will be in better shape than last May.
