If that's true at least we'll be guaranteed to win the Nafiska Pub Quiz!

It was still quite busy that time last year. Nice for walking :-)

Not this year, so I hear from Chris, he finishes in early October.

And I suspect Speros will win the quiz, he writes the questions!

Tony - I wish you hadn't put all that multiple holidays stuff in our minds! Very naughty.

Just felt forced to go back to Nafsika for 25 nights, late September -  ::)

Looks like you two will be the only ones there, at least for the last couple of weeks!!

That's strange -
from Bristol, leaving on Friday 14 June for 14 nights staying at Romanza, Thomson price is £554/person B&B. Was your price for Half board?

The Romanza doesn't do half board!

I always get it from IcePLC.com - they are very good. They will take telephone orders if you prefer.

Current on-line rates:

Post Office : 1.2350
IcePLC            : 1.2403 (min £500)
FairFX        : 1.2550 (min £700) - but not all customers happy with service.

I'm very happy with FairFX service, used them twice this year, got the best rates and had the Euros delivered the morning after they were ordered.  After you have ordered on-line from them you can phone and specify the denominations required.

Its been posted on here recently and we also found this in Kefalonia

Cash is king. Discounts offered if you pay by cash etc. They just don't like dealing with the banks! We had a safe in the room so not a prob for us to take cash

If you pay by a "no commission credit card" (ie Halifax Clarity) you will get the best rate of all.

I've not been offered a discount for paying by cash in Ag Stefanos.

Are these from Vallantis??

Where is Valantis car hire, is it the one next to Bar 38 or the one next to Zorbas?

As Jimbo says, it's probably on the other side of the road to the brewery, so just get a quad bike and don't drink any alcohol and you can get back in less than 5 minutes.

God - you're so impatient, Gav!

I was going to do a pretty web page for this, but as you're so eager, here's a quick pic (Natasha on the left, me in the middle, and Irina on the right):

Give us the lowdown on Natasha and Irina, who are they? I know I take the p--- out of them occasionally PM me if necessary.

Hi Pally 88, welcome to the forum, sure you will find many threads helpful as you count down the days. Re car hire we have secured some quotes from the resort for later this year in peak season. We found the prices not too bad, only a little up on previous years. Eg via san stefano travel £130 for  3 days ( Hyundai accent- mid august- cerrys@san-stefano.gr )
Or as mentioned Valantis Kantarelis offers a medium sized vehicle  at £110 x 3 days - info@corfuexplorecarhire.com
Daily rates become cheaper again for longer hire periods. In addition the smaller mini type cars seem about 10% cheaper than above. Hope this helps, enjoy your holiday!

Small car hire is available for as little as £140 at present, I was quoted this 3 days ago.

After long years of practise I can look out of a window both dressed and undressed.

Impressed?

I can see him from The Romanza, not a pretty sight, too much hair, on the chin!!

Nice weather, nice beach and Theodora's cooking and you'll be right as rain.

Sorry Jimbo, and other Nafsika guests, there'll be no Theodoras cooking for you this time, she's in the USA with her husband George at present.
