Have a fab time - will be there 3 weeks tomorrow, my son will be staying at Fedra too for the first time.

We're at the Fedra Mare this very moment having lunch and a drink with Dimitri & Harri, and they are expecting you tomorrow Tredegar Boy.

Where to eat out in San Stefanos? / Re: The first Supper!
« on: June 30, 2012, 06:34:14 PM »
I've just re-read through this string and I could go with all the choices.
I forgot the Sunset - we have had some brilliant meals there before,
but I think we will also call in to the Romanza one night as we have never eaten there before.
I expect Yannis will be on the corner holding up an ad-board with an arrow pointing the way!! LOL

He won't be there but I'll show you the way, try Sunday BBQ night, simply the best!!

Five Euros a ticket. No refunds in the event of collapse of small party.

Anyway - I'm not that small! Same as the average height of the Spanish football team. Small is fast. Bet I can beat most forum members to the end of the beach and back!

You may well beat many forum members to the end of the beach and back, only because most of them would stop at the far end for a squint at the nudies!!

If anyone bhajis in front of you at the ATM, don't let the peshwari you, it could be just your naan, so say aloo to her, and keema your temper or it could cause a riata.

I tried chicken tikka once but it was too mild, then I had Chicken Tarka and found it a little otter.

The only ATM in San Stefanos is unreliable, if you think you're going to get cash from that ATM every day you could be disappointed.

As for your comment of "If Greece did vote to leave the Euro, it would take many months or even years to effect an orderly transition, in other words, Nothing is going to happen quickly" I believe is a dangerous assumption.

Today's Daily Mail (page 4) reads "Draconion limits on cash withdrawals could be imposed at cash machines across the Eurozone WITHIN HOURS should Greece exit the Euro. The move could hit hundreds of thousands of British holiday-makers in Europe if a Greek exit happens at short notice"

Take a chance if you wish Basjoe, But I'll be taking mainly cash

There's a good pharmacy in Avliotes, but make sure you take you European Health Insurance Card.
I've used this pharmacy before and it is so much cheaper with the EHIC.
