Information and help please / Re: jasmine apartments
« on: August 23, 2013, 03:41:13 PM »
That is brill to read Debra as there is 8 of us going on 2nd September to Jasmine!

We also did not have to pay the deposit! stayed at the Barras a lot so know of Spiros and George etc.

Me dad stayed there before it was refurbished - it didnt have a pool or bar or nothing but was suitable for me dad as I travelled alone and Thomsons didnt allow single occupancy!

The photos on their website look like its a nice place! I havent seen it since it has been done up.

Can't wait!!  ;D

I've been trying to calculate how many times we have visited San Stefanos since 1987 but I lost count at 50!

Wow 50!!! that is unreal!!  ;D Do you have your own place there? would have been worthwhile!!

I think 1993 was my first time!

Yup that's exactly how it was for me Jimbo!! ;D

I usually get comments about how they remember me when I was only little, about 8 years old and can't believe how quick the time has gone... (I'm now 28)!!

Very nice people! We only returned by coincidence at first- we booked one of the "square deals" I think they were called? you didnt know where you were going until the coach pulled up at the apartments. 1st time san stefanos, 2nd time arillas, 3rd san stefanos.. and then booked san stefanos since!

I can't wait to return!!

i've never ever considered going for shorter than 2 weeks, but I can see why people do it! Might keep that idea in the back of my mind  :)

It's 12 days and counting for me ....

I'm returning for my 14th time, however last time I was there was 2008!! I bet there has been a lot of changes, it sounds it!

Staying at the Jasmine apartments this time, usually stay at Barras but booked independently instead!

Cant wait!!  ;D

Thanks Richard!

Yeah its nothing serious, might just want a few goes really!  :)

Do you know whether you can use the Thomas Bay courts if your not staying at the hotel? Do they charge and/or have their own rackets?

I don't wanna waste any weight in my suitecase if not going to use the rackets!! lol  :P

Cheers!

Hi all!

This may be a silly question, but the tennis courts in San Stefanos - do you just turn up when you want and use if free and just take your own equipment?

I've never really paid much attention to them before but my fiance is fancying a game or two when we go in September and need to know whether we need to take our own rackets etc!? Or whether they have some there you can hire?

Whether we end up using them or not i think will be a different matter!!  ;D

Thanks very much!

Em  :)
