That prompted me to look and I see flights have already started, but I would imagine not everything will be open.

What a gorgeous day there in SS on the beach, lovely colours in the sea, so clear.

... an old post, but one not to be forgotten. So for those that have and/or don't know how to find the beach-cam link, this is it here
Looking a little wild today, but still a couple of people in the sea!

3 weeks in May with the family along this time at the Romanza, heaven can't wait 😁
Lovely time of year over there, sure it will be as superb as always. Forecast here at Accuweather is always a few degrees under, and often well under! Do let us all know what has changed as there are always a few.

........on your arrival, what is the first place you visit ?. For us, its the supermarket for milk, coffee, and a few beers for the fridge  ;D . Then a wander to see what's new in the village, and meet up with our friends later.
It used to depend on the time of arrival for us, but recognise your routine Winkie, although our basket might differ. I think now we would look towards flights that got us there late morning to mid-day and straight out to walk along the beach, some food in a shady spot either at Manthos or the far end of the beach away from there and then back to the apartment for a snooze before going out to see people and eat and drink...

Concrete pouring at Manthos this morning, and looks pretty windy too.

What is going on there? Bigger sunbathing area?
It looks very breezy indeed, at 16c not quite as warm either. Quite a few days there 20c and above this month.

Kamini bar for pre-dinner glass of wine and sometimes post dinner, because it’s generally quite peaceful and Mrs J enjoys Michalis own wine from his vines. Plus we pass it walking to and from Fedra!

Little Prince Cocktail bar for post dinner cocktails because generally the cocktails are well made, though Sandhills has also become a cocktail stop.
Michalis, ah what a guy....

Ooo Winkie you are awful... But here we go and let's see if we can get a few answers - who knows!
So, your favourite place to drink, and why? Okay, it might be just a coffee or juice.

Thanks Winkie, we have stayed at Silver Moon a lot, Alessio does great cocktails 🍹
That would be an interesting one to know, people's favourite drinking place any why? I should add, there are other pastimes to enjoy... :-X

Despite now being child free we are stuck with schools hols and associated prices because wife works at a school. So we book independent and I hunt for cheapest flights.
Jet2 flights from East Mids is our preference but this year they were £600 more (for two of us) than Ryanair from East Mids so Ryanair it is.
Wife breaks up from school on Wednesday 23rd July and we fly out morning of Friday 25th to the amazing Fedra for two weeks. Can’t wait!
They were saying flights were a big factor in the inflation rate rises, but you have to say we have had low prices for a while now, so it hurts all the more having large increases. We've not been away for sometime now, out of choice. When we do travel it will be back to independent travel for us too. After doing this for years we are quite used to it and will pick the airline and airport where the flights suit us the best. We are quite happy to split the carrier and use Jet2 going and RyanAir on the return. No parking at airports for us either, so can and will go and come back using different airports. Although we live in Yorkshire, we've done Stansted that many times we are quite happy to look at it as an option too.

Looking great there today from the beach cam, well apart from the digger every now and then on screen. Assuming work at Manthos underway.
