Fedra Mare
« on: August 15, 2010, 03:22:23 PM »
Just returned from a fantastic couple of weeks staying at the Fedra Mare - highly recommend it.
Dimitris and Hari are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. Apartments spacious and cleaned every day with fresh towels.  Lovely breakfasts and such a relaxing atmosphere.
Large pool with plenty of space and sunbeds to accommodate everyone with great views across the bay.
On the edge of the village going towards the harbour so lovely and quiet with a short walk into the village for dinner.

Cant say enough good things - and cant wait to get back there next year.

Returned from the Fedra on 30th July.

Absolutely brilliant place. We love it and have booked for next year already. Would book for the next couple of years if I had my way. In fact I would move to San Stef tomorrow if I was 10 year's older and retired.

Being San Stef regulars for 7 years now, we too have thought about this, but we remind ourselves that is a holiday and it would be completely different living there, especially in the winter as I understand they have a lot of rain (bit like England then!!) Would be nice to have an apartment to visit several months of the year though. Hmm dream on!!

Or instead of paying out for a property, just book an apartment on a cheap long term deal!

Hey guys I am new to the forum and havent been to San Stef for 3 years so was eagar to see what people were saying about it.

It was nice to see that Fedra Mare gets a mention. Demitris and Hari are fantastic and it is always lovely to go back and see everyone.

I've been visiting SS on and off since I was 8 (think this is my 15th visit) and I just love it. My cousin and her bf are staying there at the mo they come back a week today. We go out on 4th September for a week and my parents arrive the day before we leave!! A real family affair :)

I think the fact only about 50 people live in San Stef in the winter gives a strong indication about "how fantastic" it would be Nov-Apr.

Have added Fedra Mare to Trip Advisor if you want to support it on there -

Thanks Sezza,

We are staying in an Apartment at the Fedra Mare for a week in September and have already booked the same for a fortnight in July 2011!

We popped in to the Fedra Mare in July this year and had a drink with Dimitris, just looking round the pool and bar area was enough to convince us that this place was something special, it reminded us of the Delphino Blue at half the price!

If you have any photos of the inside of the Apartment that would be great.

Cheers,

Andy
