It should be possible to avoid French airspace going to Greece - but planes will be a bit chaotic. Suggest contacting carrier. I will be contacting Thomsons - we fly morning of 24th, so IN THEORY it shouldn't be a problem for us...

My brother in law saw it on telly last night, and I have Googled it and read up, BUT having checked Stansted/Gatwick and my Norwich airport, I am unable to find any evidence of any delays. Nothing in todays papers, nothing on Thomsons website!!! One flight (QueasyJet) was actually early back at one airport- only delays around an hour on some Spanish flights, but that is nothing. How odd!

There isn't much on the news. You would think that a 7 day strike would at least register on the BBC News site, but ATM it's not there.

Currently, Doncaster is showing tomorrow's Thomson flight as on schedule. They can re-route over Germany and down the Balkans, or down the Channel and over Italy. There should be plenty of planes because all the flights into France will be cancelled.

Thomson flight from Doncaster to Corfu took off 1 minute early this morning - which is a good sign!

My flight starts at Luton, goes to Corfu, then to Norwich, and it left on time.
