A quick update from me, weather has not been as good this week, Sunday/Monday was sunny and warm but Tuesday and Wednesday were more cloudy with some showers, the sun is out again today so fingers crossed.

Had some great nights in the Little Prince, on Tuesday night Jimbo joined us 'just for a quick one' but staggered out at midnight having consumed a reasonable amount of red wine ;D

Have also enjoyed some fine lunches in the Havana Bar, Mango Bar and Athina, the best however was at the Mistral with an excellent Chef Salad washed down with a large Mythos.

Went to Zorbas Monday night and that was excellent as ever.

San Steph has been incredibly busy considering it is late Sptember, the Little Prince is packed most nights as was Zorbas, the bars are a little quieter but we had a few drinks late at the Athens Bar and the mad Greek owner was as cheerful and crazy as ever.

As mentioned we went to the Havana Bar and the owner welcomed us and thanked us for coming back....our last visit was over two years ago! How do they remember so many faces?

Just booked Easyjet Manchester to Corfu for July 2011.

296 pounds return for two including Speedy Boarding and Luggage!

Thats less than I paid this year.....great stuff.

Now where has my drink gone ;D

I object! I was not staggering!

It was great to meet up and down a few and debate the causes of global warming. As Andy says, where other places like Zorba's were just waiting to put the lights out, Little Prince was full every night, and very lively.

I should report, for those who were not privileged to be there, that Andy is strong, good-looking and fit - and Gill is utterly drop-dead gorgeous.

Jimbo,

You are such a smooth talker but the next drink is on me! ;D

First night on the internet since we got back due to a server problem......thanks a lot Orange >:(

Looking out over a frosty garden it seems a long time till next summer, if I was retired like Jimbo I would be in Corfu full time, who needs a British Winter :(

That is too true.

I'm fortunate because the work I do is more fun than doing nothing. It has its tedium like anything else, but everything is a new challenge. I don't have to take orders from anybody, and I can work at any time of the day or night, or not at all. Which, often, makes it harder!
