The end of the beach - what is that?
« on: June 07, 2011, 10:34:47 PM »
Hi
When I was there this year I walked almost to the end of the beach (past the Havana bar) and found what looks like some ancient ruins in the hillside. It looked a bit like an old wall of some sort, lots of pottery stuck in it.
Does anyone know what that was? I was just curious...

Kath

Ha Ha Jimbo

It's actually the domain of Vlad. He stalks the roads of the resort at night, sometimes Ozzy Oil BBq, sometimes the Little Prince. He does however hate the Condor and as for Jerry James.........

Seriously, Kath - it's probably remains of a fisherman's hut. It won't be ancient. The only relic of ancient times you'll find in AS is Tony Cox.

I looked at it again - I took a video of it (sad I know) and it looks too far down into the hillside to be anything recent - not a fisherman's hut anyway.
I reckon it could be quite a lot older...
The old ones are always the best anyway!!

From memory I'm sure that's the old cottage that Natasha and Irina used to run. Might be wrong, I'll check with Boris.

Oi!! you grizzly old goat! and you call me ancient!! LOL

The hut you refer to - I am pretty sure belongs to the Man in the Glass Art shop, and is in better nick than it looks outside,
- however being far - far younger than Jimbo,
I can't possibly have memory problems, so it must be right!!

Jules - - I'm gonna' get you back!! HaHa indeed!!

Tony... No memory problems? I have it in good faith (from a member of your family) that you were Methusalah's mentor when he was growing up,

Not the hut at the end, it's actually in the cliff side, partly eroded away but clearly a wall of some sort.

It's not that important anyway, just wondered if anyone else had noticed it.

On a different note - really want a villa in San Stef but Romanaza can't happen this year at least - any ideas?

Peli & Maria have a 3 bed room bungalow.
Olympia has a villa just above their patio.
