Beachcombers is always nice.
You may not get candlelight (although you could always ask) but you will be able to watch the sunset over the sea.
You will probably have to book a day or two in advance dependent on what time of season you are going.

I agree the Beachcomber, especially if the sun is about to set, you wont need romantic candles! And the food is excellent.

I'll fourth that!  Nice setting for a special meal and I'm pretty sure Sue has candles on the table, most of the restaurants have candles or little
lamps on the tables mainly to discourage the pesky mosquitoes.

The one downside of The Beachcomber is that, from memory, they don't offer Greek food.

We ate Greek in Delfino Blu - the staff were simply amazing and it was a very special night - and 5 courses for 22 euros

Everyone's opinion may well be different, personal tastes etc. my opinion is below - as it's one of my favourite restaurants.
The Beachcomber is the nicest  for a romantic meal - it's a Bistro type menu which is a little different and a change from the other establishments, whose menu's are similar.
There is nothing wrong with taking a break from traditional Greeek food when it's such good quality with decent wine on offer to compliment it.
This is not a menu that you will find in every high street back home, so a nice experience.
Also the food is brilliant, courtesy of Nikki the chef, the setting fantastic and dining al-fresco while the sun sets over the island out to sea is truly beautiful and a great photo opportunity.
Lovely modern place with nice toilets and washroom, topped off with great friendly service from Sue, and terrific ambience.

Beachcomber or Romanza (if you can be bothered with the hill) both offer spectacular views at sunset.
I know the guys at the Romanza will make a fuss of you if you let them know you are coming for a special meal.
They made our wedding ann meal very special
