A lot of small ones on the beach - mostly early in the season.
20 days and we will be back " home"

saw a couple on the beach when we were there 9-20 June following the strong winds/waves and another in the creek near Waves. All dead and about the size of a £2 coin...

I was in San Stef from 7th to 21st June, we hired a boat and headed down toward Paleo, we stopped at a cove and were diving off the boat and I got stung whilst swimming :( Not particularly painful just a bit uncomfortable, got some cream from the chemist when we got back and it took it straight down. When I actually looked over the side of the boat there were quite a few of them all about the size of a cup bottom. If you have small children perhaps keep an eye on them on the beach and in the sea, I can imagine it wouldn't be a nice experience for little ones!

That's so odd - as I said earlier - I had never seen them in San Stefanos though - lets hope it doesn't change

We saw a few in May - only one alive and swimming (if that's the right word) in a shallow pool of water.  I have to say they were quite pretty with lilac and yellow patterns not like the ones we used to see at Llandudno in the 1950's.  My husband also got stung by one in the sea at Majorca and he said it was really painful (didn't know if that was just a man thing though lol).
