Pete really works hard on his quizzes doesn’t he.

Rain here all day-first we have had for 3 weeks really.
Yes lousy exchange rate.

Sounds lovely Jim. I think that's a good point about people not spending so much money. We are out quite late evening/morning, but we noticed how quiet everywhere was after about midnight.

What you get on a credit card is the Interbank Exchange Rate, which is always a but higher than what you can get cash for.

Another great day today. Wonderful on the beach. For long periods of time we were the only ones in the sea between the little river and the old harbour. Mistral made a special lunch for us, because it's not longer on the menu. What lovely kindness. It's those little touches that make this place special.

People we know on the beach year after year were ecstatic about the meal they had in Yianni's last night, as others have been. Off to the new Manthos this evening.

No Maggie, we normally go to the Canary Islands in March and October, but we have some family illnesses, so may not get away again this year.

Aah, hope all is ok now, we had a very good rest, but it's back to the same at home, at least our batteries are recharged, so we can continue :)

We hadn't planned to come again this year but had booked 3 weeks next year.
BUT I had an accident in our garden when we returned-had to get some dental work done as I broke my fall with my chin.
Then an impatient woman crashed a trolley into my leg outside a supermarket pushing to return the trolley and took a chunk out of my right leg and I  had an really bad open wound. It was very painful and I was having to go to the hospital every other day for treatment. It  has healed over now, just, but looks grottty. So we decided to book for September as we usually do  and get a proper rest once the grandchildren have scarpered back to school and the resort is quieter.

Oh Maggie, you really have been in the wars! Glad you are on the mend now and your September holiday will be a fantastic break for you, especially as it will be much quieter :) I'd quite like to try September, but that depends how things go here.

Yes I would imagine it is. We have now booked Little Prince for next year 29th June, but will see how things go and may book September this year ;)
