Any truth to the rumours that this will be opening as a taverna again this year?

On a similar note, anyone have any updates re the "abandoned "hotel? There was some speculation a while ago that it was going to be turned into an all-inclusive hotel?

Last i heard it was back in German ownership, and was going to be one of those Tantra ,Naturist retreats.aparantly it would issue day passes for anybody interested in revitaliseing their body and soul without the use of mythos or orange cake..

Not heard any rumours, but that doesn't mean there won't be a new taverna there...

However, no work being done either there, or at the abandoned hotel at present.

Orange cake? Is this another name for something illegal, immoral or fattening? Or is it actual cake made of oranges? If so please tell where one acquires this and does it come in portions as large as your head?

Hi hobbes..nothing illegal. It is a scrumptious dessert ,normally on the house after your meal or can be bought also..you will have to visit yiannis grill ,enjoy great food and service and then your reward commeth...just dont get mixed up with yiannis fast food, but that is also well worth a visit..

Hobbes find the Barras restaurant at the t junction and turn left walk about 25yds and Yiannis is on your right hand side- aside from the orange cake he does lovely lamb on a Saturday and chicken souvlaki and etc . If you are going high season it may be worth booking a table as they can get busy after 8 /8.30. Further up is Ozzie Oils , a lovely Olive wood shop and a good laundry next door ...plus more pools and  the Arillas brewery :D
