Just had a message from Dimitris - the sale last year apparently fell through, so the family are there this year. I'm sorry for the, but pleased for us - we're staying there in July.

I know they want to retire and were thrilled to think they'd sold it last year, so I'm sure it's up for sale. I believe 3M euros is less than what they thought they had got.

Strangely, when I was writing the second Almond book I put some scenes in Little Prince into it with Dimitris and Pipina. Somehow I didn't want them gone because they've been part of Agios Stefanos for us since 2009.

Just read on social media that Dimitri and Pippina have called it a day in the Little Prince restaurant, retiring after many years, apparently keeping the hotel side going, wishing them well  .

Well they've worked incredibly hard for many years and deserve a rest. Will the restaurant continue under someone else or will it close down?
