I also use Phillips and have no problem. Is your PC ok?

How did you transfer them - was it file transfer or via Phillips own software?

Were you trying to add from a cd or from the internet as the internet ones can have a different format.

I have had my cd of instructions out and can't see anything on there. The only thing I can suggest is you save your music to your computer and re formatt the player. This though will wipe your player clean. This is only guess work as well . Sorry can't be any more helpful.

Ok - first play your Cd in Windows Media Player,
Then check the top menu and find "RIP" - click on it
select your CD in the drive, it will now rip all songs on it (few mins) and convert them to MP3 format or wma format
either is ok. I like MP3 as it will play anywhere.
Save into the folder of your choice or make a new folder and name it, and then save these tracks.
you should now be able to copy them into your player and should work ok.

If it's a vista issue, also look out for a software update fix, or borrow a PC/Laptop with XP to do it.
