The Night Owl
« on: May 06, 2019, 07:43:01 PM »
Hello Folks. Going to Rose Garden on 30th for 2 weeks. My wife has been on Google Maps and has found a wee taverna called the Night Owl between Arillas and Agios Georgious. Has anyone been there and would you recommend it. Lunch or Dinner? Thank you for any info.

It's very popular with people on here.
The chops are the stuff of legend

Thanks Gavlah. Chops sound good but to be honest will eat almost anything on holiday. May have to leave car and get a taxi as do enjoy a few Corfu Beers with dinner or lunch come to think of it.

Unfortunately there are no taxis in San stef, to book a taxi it would have to come from sidari so it would be expensive

Nice place and like Gav said pork chop is very good, but I’ve had just as good if not better pork chop in beer o clock.

We try lots of places just outside the village but let’s be honest you don’t need to venture out, 14 night holiday we struggle to eat in all the great places in the village. I have had just 1 bad meal in over 30 years of going - I won’t say where 😁.

Thanks Benson. You have just solved our driving at night argument. Probably just stay in village for 2 weeks and use all our favourites but also try the new Mythos. Barolo and whatever the old Chilli Chilli will be. Any ideas what is happening there?
Just out of interest, where did you stay and eat 30 years ago?

We went out to Mon Amour last year.
Nice traditional place specially for meat eaters.

Always in the Nafsika back then, other restaurants we used were Manthos and Sunset

There weren't many other places to eat . Waves was around then and Barras and Casablanca, which was next to Aspas Supermarket .Can't think of any more apart from the ones Benson has already mentioned.
