Kassiopi
Visit the famous village of Kassiopi with its ancient fortress and beautiful fishing harbor. This once important town has a wealth of history, founded by Pyrrhus of Epirus during the Hellenistic era, flourished in particular under Roman rule when great walls were built around the town. Be sure to visit the shrine of Zeus Cassius (the king of the Greek Gods) from which the village has taken its name. Today, Kassiopi is the biggest village in Northern Corfu but has still kept its colour and beauty.
Paleo & Bella Vista
Visit Paleokastritsa, the most famous beauty spot on the island and known as ‘the Jewel in Corfu’s crown’. You will make a stop en route at the Kumquat distillery, famous for its liqueurs, spirits and wines, where you can have a free tasting session. You will then be amazed by the 13th century Byzantine Monastery, boasting spectacular views of the bays below. There’s time for lunch, a swim and for a visit to the caves. The day will draw to an end with one of the most fantastic views in the world at Bella Vista where you can stop for photos.
