Where to eat?
Zorbas
Zorbas is situated in the main street of San Stefanos opposite the Thomas bay Hotel
It's one of those places recommended by the holiday reps? and as such is always very busy.
The location is at road level in the busy part of town centre with candle lit tables available inside and out.
Greek dancers in traditional costume put on a good show every night. The lights are turned down, the floor set alight and the dance show begins.
The specials board is updated daily with selections such as:
-
Kokinisto - pieces of beef tenderly cooked in red wine and tomato sauce, served with roast potatoes, chips or boiled rice
-
Beef Tsiganiko - pieces of beef cooked in a red wine sauce and baked in the oven with aubergine, topped with feta cheese, served with roast potatoes, chips or boiled rice
Each served with a complementary glass of wine.
The food we had was good but Zorbas didn't give us the "wow" factor, having said that we would go back and as such we have included this review on our site.
Why not give it a try and make up your own mind?
